After teaching for 11 years in the Blue Valley School District, I spent the last 19 years raising a family and running a business from home. I am enjoying my return to the the classroom and the teaching profession. In particular, I love teaching Family & Consumer Sciences as I believe that no matter what my students choose to do with their lives, they will be able to use what they learn in my classroom. I am passionate about helping young people navigate to being a responsible adult. My husband and I have been married 31 years and we have two adult child of whom we are extremely proud: Holden, age 26, of Manhattan, New York, and Corinne, age 22, who graduated in May from Kansas State University, Manhattan, Kansas. We have enjoyed visiting both Manhattans! We moved to Drexel from Stilwell, KS in July of 2017.
